Junior Muster

On Saturday 6th of April 2024 will be our Junior Muster and will coincide with the TRFC Family Day! 

Outline of the Day

  • 10am – J2 training/ game (Field 3)
  • 11am – Muster officially commences
    • Players go directly to their teams meeting spot to meet/ greet the team and their coaches/ managers (see below for map)
    • Shorts/ Socks, Merchandise, 2nd hand gear, payment of subs, weigh-in etc on sales in the Clubrooms (those wishing to come up to the Clubrooms are encouraged to enter via the Club Foyer; and leave the Club out the ranch sliders)
    • New registrations for Rippa (J7 & J8), RipRugby & Tackle are to attend the Club Rooms.  (NB: J1 and J2 are now closed to new registrations as our teams are full)
  • 11:30am – J1 friendly (Field 1)
  • 12pm – Bar Opens
  • 12:30pm – Muster concludes and TRFC Family Day commences
  • 12:30pm – Tuck Shop & BBQ open
  • 1pm – TRFC Prems 2 Game vs Kumeu (Field 1)
  • 2:45pm – Prems 1 Game vs Kumeu (Field 1)
  • 4pm – Family Day concludes

TRFC Family Day Activities

  • Free Sausage for Kumeu or TRFC kids in their Club Gear
  • Bouncy Obstacle course on Field 1
  • Treasure Hunt for kids
  • TRFC Junior Tour Raffles
  • Face Painter
  • TRFC J1 playing pre-season game vs. Kumeu
  • TRFC Prem 1 & 2’s playing games vs. Kumeu
  • Tuck Shop and Bar open!

Below on the map, you will see your team's allocated meeting spot - please go to your allocated spot first, before going to the clubrooms.  

NB: The Council is trying to repair the grounds to ensure they are in great nick for the start of rugby season.  PLEASE keep your children away from all roped off areas.

Subs

If you haven't done so already, please pay your subs ASAP.  As part of your child's subs, they will receive a TRFC Book Bag, which all our players will have prior to the start of the season.

Subs can be paid via Internet Banking to the following account:

Toilets

Toilets are located behind the Clubrooms on the way to Field 1 (Athletics Ground) or in the Clubrooms.

Clubrooms

Rugby Boots are not to be worn in the Clubrooms, please.

Health & Safety

Please note, that this is NOT a drop and leave event.  Parental supervision is required to ensure all junior players remain safe and sound at all times, whether that is in the Clubrooms or out on the Fields.  Coaches & Managers will be moving from activity to activity with their teams, but it is expected a parent will also.

Please ensure all children understand that the car park is extremely busy with cars driving around, parking and reversing. Children are not to play, or be unsupervised in the car park.

Please keep all children OFF the scrum machine.  This is not a toy, and can be dangerous – we do not want anyone hurt or injured.  The J1 team will use this, exclusively, under the supervision and direction of their Coaches.
